Why Social Media? Social Media plays an important role in our campaign, as we target young audiences as known as millenials. According to the Guardian, 91% of young adults use social media nowadays. The use of Social Media will be particularly important in the first part of our marketing campaign, because it helps to increase brand recognition and reach a great number of consumers with the smallest investment of money. We will use an interactive way of communicating, trying to involve as much as possible our customers, for example with photo contests and offering of discounts.
Types of Social Media: Facebook: In launching period, we will conduct a photo contest in which followers need to like our page, tag their friends in the pictures and share the post to get discounts. This is to make our Facebook page go viral and create awareness. It is also a platform where we share our brand activation videos and introduce our partners. So we decided to create our own account. This could be used during the Foodtruck event as a part of promotion. Every day, some best photo will be selected and featured in our snapchat account. Instagram: It will be used to post picture of our partners’ lunch menu with creative food styling.
